For commercial and consumer applications in homes and offices. APPROVED USES: Effective against odour-causing bacteria, bacteria causing staining and discolouration, fungi (mould and mildew) and algae as a static agent. Can be used as a final bacteriostatic finish to impart bacteriostatic/ fungistatic activity on items such as carpet, draperies, upholstery, furniture, book covers, and pictures. On interior Non-Food Contact hard surfaces including floors, floor coverings, walls, wall coverings, ceilings, ceramic tile, concrete, chrome, stainless steel, fibreglass, vinyl, porcelain, wood and glass fixtures, marble, and aluminium. Air filters and HVAC filters.

HOW TO USE:

Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Information: Before handling, read product and MSDS and container labels for safe use, physical and health hazard information. The MSDS can be obtained by writing to Bactraban. Wear protective eyewear (goggles or face shield) and rubber gloves when using this product. Clean surfaces prior to application. Dry treated areas and articles such as clothing before use. Remove children and pets from treated area until completely dry. This product is to be applied to organic and inorganic surfaces by brushing, dipping, padding, soaking, or spraying until adequately wet. After applying treatment, allow the surface to dry at temperatures from ambient to a maximum of 160° C to complete condensation of silanol groups and to remove water, solvents and/or traces of methanol from hydrolysis. If necessary, use this product every 3 months or when odour, staining and discolouration due to bacteria, mould stains, and mildew stains return.

For Spray Application: Using the pump sprayer, spray entire area 10-15 centimetres from the surface, ensuring complete coverage. Apply and allow the surface to remain visibly wet for 3 minutes. Then wipe dry with a cloth or sponge (or allow to air dry). If spotting occurs, wipe with a moist cloth or sponge. Test for staining and colourfastness of fabrics and carpets by treating and drying a small, concealed area prior to application. When treating coarser substrates, more product may be required due to absorption.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. STORAGE: Store in original, closed container in an area inaccessible to children or persons unfamiliar with its use. Keep tightly closed until ready to use. Reclose tightly after each use. When stored in original, unopened container at or below 25°C, this product has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from shipment date. PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product must be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

CONTAINER HANDLING:

Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Offer for recycling or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill.

CAUTION:

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Hazard to Humans and Domestic Animals. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and wear protective eyewear. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, using tobacco or using the toilet.

FIRST AID:

Have the product container or label with you when calling or seeing a poison control centre or doctor. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing. ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:

This product is toxic to fish. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or other waters (or into sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority). De-activation may be required during clean up if a spill occurs. De-activation of this product can be achieved by the addition of an anionic surfactant or detergent (such as soap, sulfones, or sulfates) in quantity equivalent to the active ingredient.
